Junee Shire Council

A Riverina railway shire on the Main South line, 41 km north of Wagga Wagga — around 6,500 people across 2,030 km², in Junee township and the villages of Old Junee, Illabo, Bethungra, Wantabadgery and Eurongilly. Home to the Junee Roundhouse Railway Museum, the licorice and chocolate factory in the old flour mill, and Bethungra's rail spiral, with an economy built on public administration and safety, farming, freight and manufacturing. The council runs the local services you use every week — waste, sewer, roads, parks, the pool and library, development — and sets your rates. Here's the snapshot, then the stuff that affects your week.
