Mayor & councillors
Stonnington has 9 councillors, one for each ward: Como, Greville, Hedgeley Dene, Malvern Valley, Orrong, South Yarra, Toorak, Tooronga and Wattletree. They were elected in October 2024 for the 2024–2028 term. Voters don't elect the Mayor directly: each year the councillors choose one of themselves.

Victorian council ballot papers and results don't show party affiliation, so we don't label councillors. We list who holds office, with their council email addresses and official profiles, and link to the election results. Until 12 October 2026 the council's website directs Toorak Ward enquiries to the Mayor. The council says a vacancy before the 2028 election is filled by a by-election. For media enquiries the council asks that councillors be contacted through media@stonnington.vic.gov.au. For the latest list, see the council's page or the VEC.
