Report a problem to the council
The quickest way to get something fixed — a pothole, dumped rubbish, a missed bin — is to lodge it through the council's official channel, where it goes to the right team. Below is where to report each type of issue, plus an independent app that works for any council.
- Report to the council (official)
- Submit a Request online, or call 1300 617 058The council's online 'Submit a Request' portal for issues and service requests like bin repairs, graffiti removal and tree maintenance.
- Bin problems
- 1300 617 058 / (02) 9806 5050 or waste@cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.auMissed, stolen or damaged bins and other waste requests.
- Urgent or after-hours hazard
- Call 1300 617 058For urgent or hazardous situations your call is transferred to the after-hours service; for emergencies call 000.
- One app for any council
- Snap Send SolveAn independent app that routes your report to the responsible council. Not run by the council.
- Not always the council's job
- Faulty street lights → energy providerThe council maintains the pole; the energy provider fixes the light itself.
For urgent safety hazards, call rather than filling in a form. Snap Send Solve is an independent third-party app (not run by the council) that routes your report to the responsible authority.
