Monash is a municipality in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs, running from Oakleigh and Chadstone in the west to Glen Waverley, Wheelers Hill and Mulgrave in the east. The council was created in December 1994. Its main office is the Civic Centre in Glen Waverley.

These 14 suburbs are the council's own list, and they match the suburbs the CSA lists for Monash. The council says Burwood, Chadstone and Oakleigh South are only partly in Monash. We checked each against the official Vicmap locality boundaries: Burwood (about a sixth) and Oakleigh South (a little over half) are split with neighbouring councils, but the Vicmap locality of Chadstone falls inside the Monash boundary, so we don't mark it as part. Postcodes come from the CSA's suburb and postcode table for Monash. The map shows the ABS boundary (ASGS 2025).
