Shire profile
Moira Shire lies along the Murray River in northern Victoria, stretching from Bundalong in the east to Barmah in the west. The council describes four major towns, Cobram, Nathalia, Numurkah and Yarrawonga, and 22 smaller communities. The council offices are in Cobram and Yarrawonga. The shire has been run by state-appointed administrators since March 2023; see the Administrators page.
