City profile
Maroondah is a municipality in Melbourne's outer eastern suburbs. It was created in December 1994, when the former Cities of Ringwood and Croydon joined with small parts of North Ringwood, Lilydale and Kilsyth South. The council says the name comes from an Aboriginal word meaning 'leaf'. Its main customer service centre is at Realm, in Ringwood Town Square.

We built this list by checking the official Vicmap locality boundaries against the council boundary. Ringwood North (about nine-tenths) and Kilsyth (about an eighth) are split with neighbouring councils, so we mark them as part; the other ten fall inside Maroondah. Slivers of Vermont, Park Orchards and Wonga Park (each under 5% of the locality) are left out. Postcodes come from the CSA's suburb and postcode table. The map shows the ABS boundary (ASGS 2025).
