NSW · Riverina (MIA) · Local council, made simple
Griffith City Council
The major regional centre of the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area in the western Riverina — around 27,300 people across Griffith and surrounding towns like Yenda, Hanwood and Yoogali, built on irrigated horticulture, wine and food manufacturing, with a strong Italian-Australian community and a town centre designed by Walter Burley Griffin. The council runs the local services you use every week — waste, water, roads, libraries, parks, an airport, development — and sets your rates. Here's the snapshot, then the stuff that affects your week.
