Report a problem to the council
The quickest way to get something fixed on the 710 km of sealed roads, 606 km of unsealed roads and 120 km of footpath the council maintains — a pothole, dumped rubbish, a missed bin — is to lodge it through the council's official channel. Council has two customer-service counters, at Wallendoon Street in Cootamundra and Sheridan Street in Gundagai, and a single phone number that also covers after-hours emergencies.
