Canterbury-Bankstown Council
A large, fast-growing and highly multicultural city in south-western Sydney — around 385,000 people across Bankstown, Campsie, Lakemba, Revesby, Roselands and dozens of other suburbs. The council runs the local services you use every week — waste, roads, libraries, pools, parks, development — and sets your rates. Here's the snapshot, then the stuff that affects your week.

Hady Saleh elected Councillor for Roselands Ward
Hady Saleh was named the new Roselands Ward Councillor via a NSW Electoral Commission countback, following the retirement of Clr Karl Saleh OAM.
What this means for you: Roselands / Bunmarra Ward has a new councillor; the vacancy was filled by countback rather than a by-election, so representation continued without a fresh poll.
