Report a problem to the council

The quickest way to get something fixed — a pothole, dumped rubbish, graffiti, a missed bin — is to lodge it through the council's official channel. Below is where to report each type of issue, plus an independent app that works for any council.

Report to the council (general issues)
Online 'Report an issue' form, or call (02) 9911 6555Customer Service answers the phone line anytime; the online form covers most local issues.
Graffiti
Online form at ausgr.com.au/canadabay, or call (02) 9911 6555
Illegal dumping
Call (02) 9911 6555 or email council@canadabay.nsw.gov.au
Bin problems / missed collection
Waste Hotline: 1300 551 659 (Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm), or the 'Waste Info' app
One app for any council
Snap Send SolveAn independent app that routes your report to the responsible council. Not run by the council.
Not always the council's job
Faulty street lights → AusgridThe council maintains the pole; the energy provider fixes the light itself. Potholes on state/classified roads → Transport for NSW.

For urgent safety hazards, call rather than filling in a form. Snap Send Solve is an independent third-party app (not run by the council) that routes your report to the responsible authority.
