These 12 suburbs are the ones the council lists and the CSA lists for Yarra. We checked each against the official Vicmap locality boundaries and the ABS council boundary. Four are marked '(part)': Alphington (about 51% in Yarra) and Fairfield (about 55%), which the council also lists as partly in Yarra (Fairfield south of Heidelberg Road), and Carlton North (about 51%) and Fitzroy North (about 92%), which the council lists without that qualification. Postcodes come from the CSA's suburb and postcode table. The map shows the ABS boundary (ASGS 2025).
