Waste & recycling
When your bins go out, and how Wingecarribee handles recycling and bulky waste. The shire runs a three-bin kerbside service (contractor JR Richards & Sons) on a Week A / Week B fortnightly cycle: a red-lid general-waste bin and a yellow-lid recycling bin on alternating weeks, plus a green-lid garden-organics bin. Note the green bin is garden-organics only — it is not a food-and-garden (FOGO) service, so food scraps don't go in it. To find your collection day and week, use the council's BinDay lookup.
