City profile
Whittlesea is a municipality on Melbourne's northern edge. It runs from established suburbs such as Thomastown, Lalor, Bundoora and Mill Park, through the growth suburbs of Epping, South Morang, Mernda, Doreen and Wollert, to farmland and the Whittlesea township in the north. The council describes it as one of the largest and fastest-growing municipalities in Melbourne.
