Not always the council's job
Faulty street lights → Essential EnergyEssential Energy is the electricity distributor for the Upper Hunter and maintains the street-light network; the council reports faults to them.

For urgent safety hazards, call rather than filling in a form. Snap Send Solve is an independent third-party app (not run by the council) that routes your report to the responsible authority.
