- Temora Airport is owned and operated by the councilThe airport was an RAAF site in the Second World War: No. 10 Elementary Flying Training School operated at Temora from 1941 to 1946 — the largest and longest-lived school under the Empire Air Training Scheme, graduating more than 2,500 pilots, with a peak of 97 Tiger Moths. Council began developing the Temora Airpark Estate (house-and-hangar and commercial lots with taxiway access) in the mid-1990s; it now runs to more than 90 lots. - Temora Aviation Museum
- Established 1999, at the council-owned Temora AirportCouncil describes it as a world-class attraction with, in its words, arguably the finest collection of flying historic aircraft in the Southern Hemisphere, and a key focal point of the airport. The museum flies aircraft at showcase days through the year and hosts the biennial Warbirds Downunder airshow, which council says draws around 20,000 visitors to Temora.
