Mayor & councillors

Swan Hill has no wards: all 7 councillors are elected by voters across the whole municipality, and each represents everyone. They were elected in October 2024 for the 2024–2028 term, and all 7 seats are filled. Voters don't elect the Mayor directly: the councillors choose one of themselves each year.

Your representatives

Want to raise something? Contacting your ward councillor or the mayor is one of the most direct ways to be heard between elections.

Victorian council ballot papers and results don't show party affiliation, so we don't label councillors. We list who holds office, with their council email addresses and official profiles, and link to the election results. The Deputy Mayor comes from the council's November 2025 announcement; the councillors page doesn't mark the role. Because the council has no wards, a vacancy is normally filled by a countback of the 2024 votes, not a by-election. For the latest list, see the council's page or the VEC.
