Report a problem to the council

The quickest way to get something fixed — a pothole, dumped rubbish, a missed bin — is to lodge it through the council's official channel. Below is where to report each type of issue, plus an independent app that works for any council.

Report to the council (official)
Customer service: (02) 6578 7290Or use the online request forms on the council website; email council@singleton.nsw.gov.au for non-urgent matters.
After-hours emergencies
(02) 6578 7290The same number connects to the council's after-hours service for urgent issues outside office hours (see the council's After Hours Contact Information page).

One app for any council
Snap Send SolveAn independent app that routes your report to the responsible council. Not run by the council.
Not always the council's job
Faulty street lights → AusgridAusgrid is the electricity distributor for the Singleton area and maintains the street-light network; report faulty lights to Ausgrid.

For urgent safety hazards, call rather than filling in a form. Snap Send Solve is an independent third-party app (not run by the council) that routes your report to the responsible authority.
