On the map
The shaded area is the official Local Government Area boundary.
The suburb list and postcodes are a selection of the many localities in the Richmond Valley LGA; some suburbs are split with neighbouring council areas and some postcodes are shared. The shaded area on the map is the official Local Government Area boundary (OpenStreetMap administrative boundary for Richmond Valley Council). Parts of the valley — including Woodburn, Coraki and Broadwater — were severely affected by the February/March 2022 Northern Rivers floods, and Rappville by the 2019 bushfires; recovery and flood-resilience work continues.
