Pyrenees Shire is a rural shire in western Victoria. Its two main towns are Beaufort, where the council's offices are, and Avoca; smaller towns include Lexton, Landsborough, Moonambel, Snake Valley, Waubra and part of Skipton. The council says it looks after about 2,000 kilometres of roads and 150 bridges.
