Waste & recycling

When your bins go out, and how Parkes Shire Council handles recycling and organics. The council runs a three-bin kerbside service to recover more recyclables and organic material — a general-waste bin, a recycling bin and a garden-organics bin. To find your collection day, use the council's Waste Collection Days and Bins page. Households also get an annual free kerbside bulky-waste clean-up, and the Parkes Waste Facility takes drop-offs and problem waste.
