Report a problem to the council
The quickest way to get something fixed — a pothole, dumped rubbish, a missed bin — is to lodge it through the council's official channel. Below is where to report each type of issue, plus an independent app that works for any council.

- Not always the council's job
- Faulty street lights → Essential EnergyEssential Energy is the electricity distributor for regional and rural NSW, including Narrabri Shire; it maintains and repairs the street-light network.
For urgent safety hazards, call rather than filling in a form. Snap Send Solve is an independent third-party app (not run by the council) that routes your report to the responsible authority.
