Waste & recycling
When your bins go out, and how the Nambucca Valley handles recycling and bulky waste. The kerbside service is delivered through the shared Coffs Coast Waste Service (Nambucca Valley, City of Coffs Harbour and Bellingen Shire). It's a three-bin system: a red-lid general-waste bin, a yellow-lid recycling bin, and a green-lid organics bin. Unlike many NSW councils, Nambucca Valley's green bin is already a combined food-and-garden (FOGO) bin — food scraps as well as garden waste go in it, and it's collected weekly (organics are composted at the Coffs Coast Resource Recovery Facility). To find your collection day, use the Coffs Coast Waste Service lookup / app.
