Report a problem to the council
The quickest way to get something fixed — a pothole, dumped rubbish, a missed bin — is to lodge it through the council's official channel. Below is where to report each type of issue, plus an independent app that works for any council.
- Report to the council (official)
- Customer service: (02) 6568 2555Or use the council's online 'Do it online' request forms; email council@nambucca.nsw.gov.au.
- Bin problems
- Coffs Coast Waste Service hotline: 1800 265 495Missed bins and other kerbside-service issues are handled through the shared Coffs Coast Waste Service.
- One app for any council
- Snap Send SolveAn independent app that routes your report to the responsible council. Not run by the council.
- Not always the council's job
- Faulty street lights → Essential EnergyEssential Energy is the electricity distributor for the Mid North Coast; the council maintains the pole in some cases, but the distributor fixes the light itself.
For urgent safety hazards, call rather than filling in a form. Snap Send Solve is an independent third-party app (not run by the council) that routes your report to the responsible authority.
