Report a problem to the council
Most problems go through the council's online Report or Request form, which gives you a request number to track, or its customer line, (03) 5775 8555. Online requests are handled during business hours (8.30am–4.30pm, Monday to Friday); for anything urgent the council asks you to phone. Its customer service commitment is to return phone calls within 24 hours or the next working day and to answer written correspondence within 10 working days.

- Complaints
- In writing, by email or postEmail council@mansfield.vic.gov.au. Complaints are acknowledged with a complaint number; if one can't be resolved within 10 business days, the officer agrees a timeframe with you. Unresolved matters can go to the Victorian Ombudsman.Complaints process →
