Waste & recycling

When your bins go out, and how Maitland handles recycling and bulky waste. Maitland runs a FOGO service: the green food-and-garden-organics bin is collected weekly, the red-lid general-waste bin is collected weekly by default (an optional fortnightly red bin is available), and the yellow-lid recycling bin is collected fortnightly. To find your collection day, enter your address on the council's bin collection page.
