Macedon Ranges is a shire in central Victoria, a little under an hour's drive north-west of Melbourne. Its main towns are Gisborne, Kyneton, Woodend, Romsey, Riddells Creek, Lancefield, Macedon and Mount Macedon, with farmland, forest and landmarks such as Hanging Rock and Mount Macedon between them. The council has offices in Gisborne and Kyneton.
