Report a problem to the council
Issues that need the council's works department go through its online 'Report an issue' form. If the matter is urgent, the council asks you to phone (03) 5494 1200. Bins are handled by phone. Complaints, suggestions and praise have a separate form.

- By phone

- Bins
- Missed or damaged bin: call (03) 5494 1200Customer service reports missed bins to the contractor. A stolen bin needs a signed statutory declaration returned to the council before it is replaced.
- Highways and main roads
- VicRoads-managed roads → VicRoads, 13 11 70 (24 hours)The council says issues on roads with an A, B or C number (shown on signs and maps) go to VicRoads, by phone or its online form.
