The suburb list is a selection of the many localities in the Lismore City LGA; most of the LGA shares the postcode 2480, and some suburbs are split with neighbouring council areas. The Lismore CBD and low-lying suburbs (North, South and East Lismore) were severely affected by the record flood of 28 February 2022 (which peaked at about 14.4 metres), and flood recovery is an ongoing part of the picture.
