Report a problem to the council
The quickest way to get something fixed — a pothole on a village road, dumped rubbish, a missed bin — is to lodge it through the council's official channel. Kyogle Council runs a large rural road and bridge network, so location detail matters: give the road name and, where you can, the nearest property number or distance from an intersection. Below is where to report each type of issue, plus an independent app that works for any council.
How to report it

- Urgent / after hours

- Not always the council's job

- Illegal dumping
- RID Online (NSW EPA), or call councilThe statewide Report Illegal Dumping tool sends your report straight to council. Council has an Illegal Dumping and Litter Prevention Strategy 2023–2027; on-the-spot fines start at $4,000, or $15,000 for illegally transporting or dumping asbestos.
