Report a problem to the council
Where to report each kind of problem. The council's 'Pay, report, apply' page has online forms grouped by topic, and it says it will respond within 10 business days. For an emergency outside business hours, call the main number: you will be transferred to the after-hours service.

- Missed bin
- Report within 36 hoursIf your bin isn't collected by 6pm on collection day, report it within 36 hours. The contractor checks truck camera footage, and the council aims to collect reported missed bins within 2 business days. Damaged, stolen or missing bins are replaced at no extra cost.Bin services →
