Greater Shepparton is the council for the city of Shepparton and the towns and farmland around it in the Goulburn Valley, in northern Victoria. The Goulburn River runs through the municipality, between Shepparton and Mooroopna. Besides the twin centres, it takes in towns including Tatura, Murchison, Dookie, Merrigum, Toolamba, Tallygaroopna and Congupna.
