Report a problem to the council
The council handles requests and problem reports through its online 'Submit a request' form, by phone or by email. Bin problems — missed, damaged, lost or stolen bins — also go to the council's Customer Experience team, not a contractor.

- Contact the council within 48 hoursCheck first that the bin was out on the right day, wasn't over 70 kg, and didn't contain the wrong items — the council lists these as common reasons a bin isn't emptied.Bin guidelines →
- Damaged, lost or stolen bin
- Customer Experience team: (03) 5220 7111Don't try to fix a broken lid or pin yourself; ask the council to repair or replace it. You may have to pay for a replacement bin.Call →

Snap Send Solve is an independent third-party app, not run by the council. In a life-threatening emergency, call 000. The council's contact and kerbside pages were read from archived copies (May 2026 and December 2025) because its website refused our automated requests.
