City profile
Frankston is a municipality on the eastern shore of Port Phillip Bay, in Melbourne's south-east. It runs from Seaford and Carrum Downs in the north, through Frankston and Frankston South on the coast, inland to Langwarrin, Langwarrin South, Skye and Sandhurst. The council notes that the Victorian Government has designated the Frankston city centre a Metropolitan Activity Centre.
