Report a problem to the council
The quickest way to get something fixed — a pothole, dumped rubbish, a missed bin — is to lodge it through the council's official channel. Below is where to report each type of issue, plus an independent app that works for any council.
- Report to the council (official)
- Customer service: (02) 6340 2000Or use the Contact Council page / council@cowra.nsw.gov.au.
- Waste & bin problems
- MRF (02) 6340 2140 / Operations Dept (02) 6340 2070For missed bins and other waste-service issues.
- One app for any council
- Snap Send SolveAn independent app that routes your report to the responsible council. Not run by the council.
- Not always the council's job
- Faulty street lights → Essential EnergyEssential Energy is the electricity distributor for most of regional NSW, including the Central West; it maintains and repairs the street-light network.
For urgent safety hazards, call rather than filling in a form. Snap Send Solve is an independent third-party app (not run by the council) that routes your report to the responsible authority.
