Report a problem to the council
The quickest way to get something fixed — a road hazard, dumped rubbish, a water or sewer fault — is to lodge it through Council's official channel. In a shire with a large unsealed road network, Council also publishes a live road-conditions page: when unsealed roads across the LGA are closed after rain, that page says so before you set out. Below is where to report each type of issue, plus an independent app that works for any council.
How to report it

- Not always the council's job

For urgent safety hazards, call rather than filling in a form. Snap Send Solve and RIDonline are run by an independent company and the NSW EPA respectively, not by the council.
