Report a problem to the council
Coolamon Shire Council does not run a single online 'report it' hub. Most things are reported by phone to the Shire offices at 55 Cowabbie Street during business hours, with a separate after-hours emergency number outside them. Below is where to take each type of issue, plus an independent app that works for any council.
How to report it
- Report to the council (official)

- Urgent / after hours
- Emergency phone 1300 880 045Published by the council alongside its main number for out-of-hours contact. For life-threatening emergencies call 000.

- Engineering and Technical Services, (02) 6930 1800The council asks residents to phone its Engineering and Technical Services Department to discuss or report road problems. - One app for any council
- Snap Send SolveAn independent app that routes your report to the responsible council. Not run by the council.
- Not always the council's job
- Street lights → Essential Energy · drinking water → Goldenfields WaterEssential Energy is the electricity distributor across regional NSW, including the Riverina, and maintains the street-light network. Drinking water in Coolamon Shire is supplied by Goldenfields Water County Council, of which Coolamon is a constituent council; the council itself runs the sewerage system in Coolamon, Ganmain and Ardlethan.
For urgent safety hazards, phone rather than emailing. Snap Send Solve is an independent third-party app (not run by the council) that routes your report to the responsible authority.
