Waste & recycling
When your bins go out, and how Cabonne handles recycling and waste across its towns and villages. Cabonne runs a kerbside service to eligible households (a red-lid general-waste bin, collected weekly) alongside six staffed Waste Management Facilities across the LGA for drop-off. The council has announced a new food-and-garden-organics (FOGO) service: from a rollout beginning January 2028, eligible households will receive a green-lid FOGO bin collected weekly, while the red-lid general-waste bin moves from weekly to fortnightly. To find your collection day, use the council's waste pages or call the waste hotline.
