Report a problem to the council
Brewarrina Shire Council does not run a category-based online reporting portal. The two channels it publishes are the Online Request Form on its Contact Us page and the main phone line during office hours, with a separate after-hours number for emergencies. Given the shire's 1,700-plus kilometres of road — much of it unsealed and closed in wet weather — road and road-closure enquiries go to the council's Technical Services team.

- Roads, potholes and road closures
- Technical Services — (02) 6830 5100 or breshire@brewarrina.nsw.gov.auAll unsealed roads in the shire are closed in wet weather. The council publishes a Road Closure Report and a road network map, and points to neighbouring Bourke, Bogan, Walgett and Cobar road condition reports because the unsealed network crosses shire boundaries. For state roads and live incidents, use Live Traffic NSW.
