Report a problem to the council
Banyule has one online form for most local problems, such as dumped rubbish, abandoned cars, damaged footpaths, overflowing public bins, overhanging branches, graffiti and noise, and a separate form for bin problems. The council says request processing times are currently longer than usual. You can track a request with its reference number.

- Repaired by riskThe council says urgent hazards are fixed within days and lower-risk defects within 60 days. Large potholes (over 5 cm deep and 30 cm wide) are repaired within 10 working days of inspection.
